Those pins must be bended and add a wire to each one.įrom the pin 22 (on the socket), route a wire to H-H switch (center pin). Hot to do: solder together every pin of the two chips (after code burn), but pins 22. The pins bended are just the ones who are intended to allow 'read' the EPROM. This is the same thing I had to do in my Sinclair ZX80 ages.
If someone has this pic, can they PLEASE post it? I've been searching all night and cannot locate it in any of my archives, nor can I find it on Aminet.there is some Russian one that says to solder ALL legs together.sounds bad! I'm asking as I'd like to be able to switch between 1.3 & 3.1.Īlso, sorry to ask everyone, but I had a diagram once that showed how to make the switchable ROMs by soldering one on top of the other, but you had to bend out a few legs, add resistors, etc. Ok, so if I have the A570 extended ROMs will I still be able to use a Kickstart 1.3 ROM?
